Sugar noodles

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g spirals
  • 2 tbsp margarine, e.g. Rama
  • 5 tbsp sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

extremely simple, very tasty and definitely not healthy

Cook the pasta as usual in a little salted water. Avoid cooking it “al dente.” Meanwhile, heat a pan with the Rama oil and, once the fat has melted, dissolve the sugar in the pan. Drain the cooked pasta and rinse it with hot water to remove any excess salt. Now comes the “difficult” part: Add the pasta to the pan with the hot fat and sugar mixture (careful! It can splash and is very hot!) and toss it a few times to coat all the pasta. Then cook at 3/4 of the heat without turning or moving until the pasta on the bottom is light brown and crispy! NOTE: The transition from light brown to black doesn’t take very long. Then serve and enjoy.
