especially delicious at Christmas

Preheat oven to 200°C. Mix flour and baking powder. Chop sunflower seeds. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs, sunflower seeds, oats, a few drops of bitter almond oil, and the flour-baking powder mixture and stir in. Using a teaspoon, place small heaps of dough onto one or two baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Tip: Leave a little space between the heaps—the dough will spread. Place in the oven and bake on the middle rack for about 13-15 minutes. Once the cookies have cooled, prepare the cake glaze according to the instructions and spread it over the cookies in thin threads (for visual appeal) or in large blobs (for flavor).
