Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg apples
- 1 dashes lemon juice
- 2 tbsp rum
- 250 g butter, soft
- 250 g sugar
- 350 g flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 1 packet of baking powder
- e.g. cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for dusting

Peel, core, and dice the apples, then mix with lemon juice and rum. Make a batter with the remaining ingredients, fold in the apples, and pour everything onto a prepared deep baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and immediately dust with powdered sugar. Tip: If you want the batter a little fluffier, simply replace the butter with 180 ml of oil and half a cup of seltzer.
