Swede and carrot soup

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • ½ turnip(s)
  • 5 carrots
  • 2 portions of processed cheese, wedges
  • 100 ml milk or cream
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • broth
  • salt and pepper
  • turmeric

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Peel and dice the turnip, carrots, and onion. Sauté everything together in a tablespoon of oil and simmer with broth for about 25 minutes, until everything is tender. Add the milk and the cream cheese and purée the soup. Season with salt, pepper, and turmeric.
