Swede and potato mash

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 250 g swede(s), peeled and diced
  • 200 g potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
  • ½ tsp curry powder
  • 1 pinch of chili powder
  • Salt
  • nutmeg
  • 140 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Boil the turnip and potatoes in salted water for 20 minutes. Add the butter to the milk and heat. Drain the vegetables and mash them with a potato ricer. Add the milk mixture and stir. Season with salt, chili, curry, and nutmeg. Garnish with parsley.
