Ingredients for 12 servings:

  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp milk (maybe a little more milk)
  • 125 g flour
  • 125 g starch flour
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, chocolate
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • Chocolate decoration (drops) to taste
  • 250 g powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cream together softened butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Also beat in the milk. Combine the flour, cornstarch, pudding powder, and baking powder and stir into the egg mixture. Add a little more milk if necessary. The batter should fall easily from the spoon. Finally, fold in the chocolate chips. Line a baking sheet with baking paper. Using a tablespoon and a knife (for pushing), place 12 mounds onto the baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan oven: 175°C, which is what I use) for 15-20 minutes, until they are a nice color. Let cool slightly, then spread the icing on top.
