Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 16 m.-sized potatoes, waxy (e.g. Sieglinde or new potatoes)
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 40 g butter
- Sea salt
- Black pepper, freshly ground
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius (fan). Wash and brush potatoes thoroughly. Cut crosswise into potatoes at approximately 3mm intervals. Heat butter and oil in a baking dish. Add potatoes, tossing well, and drizzle fat into the cuts with a spoon. Place potatoes in the dish, cut-side up, season with salt and pepper, and bake on the middle rack for approximately 45 minutes to 1 1/4 hours (depending on size), until tender.
