Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 90 g whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 120 g oat flakes
  • 130 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 large egg(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 ml oil, neutral

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Combine the flour and baking powder in a bowl. Add all ingredients one at a time and knead into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in foil and let it rest for one hour. Scoop out cherry-sized portions of the dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Bake the oat cookies in a preheated oven at 150°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes on the middle rack. Let the cookies cool completely. Store in a tin to keep them crispy.
