  • 400 g grated cheese (I prefer Gruyère)
  • some white pepper, freshly ground
  • some sea salt
  • some nutmeg, freshly grated
  • ½ bunch of dill

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

cold and warm simply delicious, quick and easy to make

Place the puff pastry on a greased baking sheet, tear the salmon into pieces, and arrange them on top. Whisk the eggs with the cheese and seasonings. Spread the egg and cheese mixture over the salmon and bake the salmon cake for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Then sprinkle the chopped dill over the top. It can be enjoyed warm, but we like to enjoy it cold as a summer snack with a glass of wine or as a complement to a hot and cold buffet.
