Sweet and sour melon salad

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • ½ melon(s) (watermelon)
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar or vinegar of your choice
  • some spice mix (garlic salt)
  • some salt
  • some cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Fresh and cooling on hot summer days

Shell the melon, cut the flesh into bite-sized pieces, and add it to the salad bowl. Combine the maple syrup and balsamic vinegar in a separate bowl, stir well, and season with garlic salt, salt, and a little (!) cinnamon to taste. Pour the dressing over the melon and mix well.
