  • 1 chili

Instructions

ideal for grilling or simply on bread

Allow the butter to come to room temperature and place it in a bowl. Place the bacon flat in a pan and fry over medium heat until nice and crispy. Note: Do not use oil for frying, just add the bacon to the pan! Turn the bacon over once during frying. Then drain the bacon on kitchen paper and chop into small pieces. Add the remaining fat from the pan to the butter. In the meantime, deseed the chili and chop into small pieces. Finely chop the parsley. Add both to the butter along with the maple syrup or honey, salt, pepper, and paprika. Finally, add the finely chopped bacon to the remaining ingredients and knead everything thoroughly. To allow the butter to develop its full flavor, it is best to leave it in the refrigerator overnight. The herb butter can also be frozen in small portions.
