Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 cups semolina
- 1 ½ cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 5 eggs
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- 2 packets of baking powder
- 3 ½ cups sugar
- 3 cups of water

Revani (Greek cake)
Beat the butter, egg yolks, and sugar with a mixer until well combined, then add the extra beaten egg whites and mix. Add the flour, semolina, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Mix everything well and bake in a 26cm (10-inch) baking dish greased with butter or margarine at medium heat for 45 minutes. Allow the cake to cool slightly. Meanwhile, boil the sugar and water for 5 minutes. Finally, drizzle the syrup over the cake by the spoonful. Tip: You can also use half a cup of coarsely ground walnuts and only 1 cup of flour instead of 1.5 cups.
