Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g fruit (mixed dried fruit)
- 75 g sugar
- 400 g pasta (wholemeal pasta)
- Cinnamon
- sweet cream
Instructions
Working time approx. 35 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 35 minutes
Pour water over the dried fruit and let it soak overnight. The next day, scoop out the fruit and bring the liquid to a boil in a saucepan with sugar and lemon juice. Then simmer the dried fruit in it until softened. Add a little more water if the sauce becomes too thick. Cook the pasta al dente in plenty of water (without salt!), drain well, and toss in the butter to prevent it from sticking together. Then sprinkle with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar. Serve with the dried fruit sauce. If you like, drizzle with some sweet cream. Tip: Breadcrumbs toasted in butter and/or sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar taste very good!
