simply
The nests are made from caramel with puffed rice. Alternatively, you could certainly use chocolate coating. Have small bowls and a ladle slightly smaller than the bowls ready. Line the bowls with baking paper and grease the ladle with oil. Have another sheet of baking paper ready for the ladle. In a large saucepan, boil the sugar with about 5 tablespoons of water until it caramelizes. When the sugar has caramelized nicely, add the butter. When the caramel has a nice color, stir in the puffed rice. You have to work quickly, as the mixture hardens quickly. Pour the mixture into the bowls lined with baking paper. Place a piece of baking paper between the bowls and press it into the mold with the oiled ladle. I do this twice in a row with 300g of sugar, because otherwise it gets too hectic making the nests. Arrange the puffed rice nests on the edible paper with the Easter grass. Fill with dragee eggs and decorate with chocolate animals.
