Red fruit jelly

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • ½ liter of water
  • 300 g raspberries, frozen
  • 300 g blackberries (or mixed berries), frozen
  • 100 g sugar
  • 80 g cornstarch
  • 4 tbsp water
  • 100 ml sweet cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 6 hours; Total time approx. 6 hours 10 minutes

this can also become your favorite dessert

Bring water to a boil, add raspberries and blackberries, and simmer for 5 minutes. Strain through a sieve and bring back to a boil. Add sugar, mix cornstarch with water until smooth, and stir. Bring to a boil once, stirring once. Pour the red fruit jelly into a glass dish rinsed with water and refrigerate for a few hours. Turn out onto a platter before serving. Serve with whipped cream.
