with almond vanilla sauce
Dice the unpeeled, thoroughly washed apples (remove the core). Separate the eggs. Mix the apples with the oats, milk, honey, egg yolks, rum raisins, cinnamon, vanilla pulp, and a little lemon juice and zest. Beat the egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form and carefully fold in. Grease a casserole dish with butter and sprinkle with ground nuts. Pour the casserole mixture into the dish and sprinkle with slivered almonds. Bake in a preheated oven to 190°C for about 45 minutes. Mix the vanilla sauce powder with the milk according to the package instructions. Season with honey, Amaretto, vanilla pulp, and ground almonds. Serve the casserole on plates while it’s still hot, topped with the warm almond-vanilla sauce. Garnish with fruit and apple slices, and dust with cinnamon.
