Apple rings with vanilla curd and walnuts

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 apple
  • 150 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 20 g walnuts
  • Cinnamon
  • mineral water
  • lemon juice
  • e.g. powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Core the apple, slice the apple into rings, and drizzle with lemon juice. Roast the walnuts in a pan without fat, remove them, and add the oil to the pan. Fry the apple rings on both sides (they should still have a bit of bite) and sprinkle with a little cinnamon. Meanwhile, cream the low-fat quark with a dash of sparkling mineral water. Add the vanilla sugar, 2 dashes of lemon juice, and a little more cinnamon, and mix well. Arrange the apple rings on a plate with the quark cream and walnuts and dust with cinnamon and powdered sugar, if desired.
