Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g marzipan paste
  • 80 g sugar, preferably powdered sugar
  • 1 egg white
  • 100 g almond flakes, sliced
  • 1 pack of dark chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Marzipan croissants, for 10 pieces

Chop the marzipan mixture into small pieces, add the sugar and egg whites, and mix on low speed with the dough hook of a stand mixer. Shape the marzipan mixture into rolls 2-3 cm in diameter, cut these into approximately 5 cm long pieces, and roll them in the sliced ​​almonds. Place them in an arc on a baking sheet (lined with baking paper or nonstick baking foil first). Flatten slightly if necessary. Bake in a preheated oven (180°C, fan oven approx. 170°C) for approximately 15 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet. Melt the chocolate coating and then dip both ends into the melted chocolate coating.
