Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 60 g butter
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 175 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 120 g cream cheese
  • 250 g cottage cheese
  • 85 g sugar
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 125 g sour cream
  • 1 tsp butter-vanilla flavoring
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp lemon(s) – zest, grated
  • 25 g almond(s), sliced
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting
  • some butter, for greasing the casserole dish

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Pasta bake with a twist

Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a baking dish with butter. Cook the pasta in a pot of lightly salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside for later use. Mix the cream cheese, cottage cheese, and sugar together well. Gradually add the eggs and mix well. Then stir in the cream, vanilla extract, cinnamon, lemon zest, and the pasta. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and level the surface. Melt the butter in a pan. Lightly brown the almonds for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from the heat and stir in the breadcrumbs. Sprinkle the almond mixture over the prepared casserole and place it in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
