Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 ml water, lukewarm
  • 40 g yeast
  • 15 g olive oil
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 10 g salt
  • 400 g flour
  • 20 g butter
  • 20 g sugar
  • 200 g plums or other fruit
  • a little lemon peel, grated

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 35 minutes

Pizza dough: Dissolve yeast, olive oil, salt, and sugar in lukewarm water. Add the flour and knead the dough well. Add more flour or water if necessary until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Let the dough rest in a warm place for 45 minutes. Filling: Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the sugar. Then add the fruit and simmer until it sets slightly. Grate in the lemon zest, if desired. Roll out the dough into a circle, not too thin so that it doesn’t tear when folded, and spread the fruit on one half. Now fold the other half over the fruit and seal the edges. Bake the calzone in an oven preheated to 200 degrees Celsius (fan oven) for about 20 minutes. A gas grill is ideal for cooking the pizza to perfection.
