Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 750 g sweet potatoes
- 200 g cheese, medium-aged, grated
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 200 ml milk
- 30 g butter
- salt and pepper

vegetarian, for a casserole dish
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into approximately 1 cm thick slices. Boil them in salted water for about 10 minutes (be careful, they will soften quickly). Arrange them in a roof-tile-like pattern in an ovenproof casserole dish. Sprinkle with sugar, pepper, and a little cheese, then pour over the milk. Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and place a few knobs of butter on top. Bake in the oven at 200 degrees Celsius on the middle rack for about 20 minutes. Serve with fresh bean salad.
