- 1 L Milk
- 250 g Short grain rice
- 3 Eggs separated
- 50 g Butter
- 60 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 60 g Ground almonds
- 500 g Cherries pitted
Instructions
- Prepare a rice pudding from milk and short grain rice. Mix the butter with the egg yolks and the sugar until creamy. Stir in the rice pudding. Fold in the cherries and the whipped egg whites. Put in a buttered baking dish. Mix the ground almonds with 2 tablespoons of sugar and sprinkle over them. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° Celsius (hot air 180 °) for about 40 minutes. You can also use apples with raisins or other fruits instead of cherries.
