Sweet snowballs

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 230 g sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 250 g quark
  • 1 cup whipped cream
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • ⅛ liter Amaretto
  • Desiccated coconut

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 12 hours; Total time approx. 12 hours 30 minutes

Make a sponge cake mixture from eggs, 180g sugar, 1 sachet of vanilla sugar, and the flour. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C in a 26cm springform pan for about 30 minutes. Then let it cool and finely crumble. Mix all the other ingredients together. Stir in the biscuit crumbs and chill overnight in the refrigerator. The next day, form small balls (about the size of ping-pong balls) and roll them in desiccated coconut. Return to the refrigerator for another 1-2 hours. Well chilled, they are a treat for many occasions. Especially as a dessert at parties, because they can be eaten easily without cutlery or plates.
