- 4 apples
- orange juice
- 250 g cranberries, without sugar

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Applesauce with cranberries
Wash and peel the apples. Since the apples will be pureed later, I left the skin on. Heat a splash of orange juice, cut the apples into pieces, and add them to the orange juice. Slowly cook the apples until soft, adding more orange juice if necessary. Just before the apples are soft, add the cranberries. Once the apples are soft, let them cool briefly and puree with a hand blender. This warm apple and cranberry puree is ideal as an addition to sweet dishes, but also delicious with chicken.
