Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg strawberries
- 160 g tomato paste
- 100 ml vinegar (Mirabelle vinegar)
- 250 g gelling sugar, 2:1
- salt and pepper

Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. Purée the strawberries coarsely or finely with a hand blender, depending on your taste. Place the strawberries and all other ingredients in a saucepan, stir, and boil gently for 3 minutes. Then pour the hot mixture into previously rinsed jars or bottles. This makes enough for 7-8 200 ml bottles. You can also add some basil to the mixture for a more savory flavor.
