Sweet vegan refried beans

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 320 g beans, white or black, cooked
  • 60 ml almond milk (almond drink) or soy milk
  • 40 g xylitol (sugar substitute), light
  • 1 tsp cocoa powder, heavily deoiled
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of baking soda
  • e.g. soy curd (curd alternative), fruit, nuts

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

High in protein and delicious for breakfast, as a dessert, as a snack or after strength training

Place the beans and all other ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. If you don’t have a high-speed blender, simply blend the ingredients with an immersion blender. This also works wonderfully. Pour the bean puree into a bowl and top with any ingredients you like, such as nuts, fruit, or soy curd, and enjoy.
