Grated apple with raisins

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 apples
  • Raisins
  • lemon juice
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tbsp nuts or cereal flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Wash, quarter, and core the apples. Finely grate them using a grater or food processor. Mix them in a bowl with a little lemon juice, cinnamon, honey, and raisins. If the apples taste sweet, you don’t need to add any extra honey. If you’d like a more nutritious treat, you can also stir in various nuts or oatmeal, for example. A healthy and tasty alternative to the typical jam and butter breakfast. Ideal for snacking and for fruit-shy children (and adults).
