quick and uncomplicated

Sort the chard, wash thoroughly, and finely chop (cut into very fine strips). Set aside. Finely dice the onion and sauté in a large pan with butter. Add a little salt and the crushed garlic clove. Now add the chard to the pan with a little milk, mix everything well, and sauté briefly, covered. Finally, carefully thicken everything with a little sauce thickener (please do not add the sauce thickener directly to the chard leaves, but rather to the resulting liquid!) and season with salt and nutmeg. Tastes great with fish dishes.
