  • 2 bell peppers, red
  • 2 onions
  • 1 can tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 300 g yogurt (cream)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 2 tbsp basil, chopped
  • 1 pinch(s) cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

a different kind of pizza

Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal pieces, roll out into oval flatbreads, and brush with olive oil. Bake in the oven at 200°C for approximately 10-12 minutes. Mix the yogurt with salt, pepper, lemon, and basil. Brown the lamb in a pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil until golden brown all over, then set aside. Slice the onion and bell pepper and fry in the same oil. Add the meat back in, along with the canned tomatoes. Season with salt, pepper, cinnamon, and paprika, and sprinkle with the chopped basil and toasted pine nuts. Serve the flatbreads separately; everyone puts some of the shredded lamb on the flatbreads and eats them like a pizza. Serve with the basil yogurt. TIP: Fresh mint is also delicious instead of the basil!
