Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g chicken
- 2 onions
- 2 tbsp clarified butter
- 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
- salt and pepper
- 400 g sauerkraut from the fresh pack
- 125 ml apple juice
- 1 apple
- 80 g sour cream
- 4 tsp parsley, flat
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes
Dice the chicken and onions. Heat clarified butter in a saucepan and brown the meat. Add the onions and fry briefly. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Add the sauerkraut, deglaze with apple juice, and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes. Slice the apple and add to the goulash. Sauté for another 5 minutes and season well. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the sour cream. Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
