Tagliatelle with asparagus and shrimp

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g tagliatelle
  • 1 kg asparagus, white
  • 1 pack of sauce (lemon butter sauce, ready-made product)
  • 250 g shrimp(s), frozen
  • possibly pepper berries, red

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

good use for broken asparagus

Peel the asparagus and cut into approximately 3 cm long pieces. Cook in salted water with a little sugar and a knob of butter for about 10-15 minutes. Drain. In the meantime, boil the pasta water and cook the tagliatelle al dente. Prepare the sauce according to the package instructions. Keep the cooked asparagus pieces warm in the sauce. Fry the shrimp in a little butter on both sides. Add a little salt. Drain the pasta and divide it between plates, then pour the asparagus sauce over it. Place the shrimp on top. If you like, you can also sprinkle some crushed red peppercorns over the dish.
