Tagliatelle with chanterelle Alfredo sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 30 g butter
  • 200 g cream
  • 50 g Parmesan, freshly grated or Grana Padano
  • 200 g chanterelles, cleaned
  • 100 g onion(s), finely chopped
  • 100 g raw ham or bacon, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • 500 g tagliatelle, from the refrigerated section or homemade

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

For the Alfredo sauce, sauté the butter in a saucepan and add the cream. Simmer for 5 minutes while stirring. Remove the pan from the heat and add the grated Parmesan cheese, stir, and set aside. Sauté the onions in a pan. Add the ham or bacon and sauté for a few minutes. Add the chanterelle mushrooms and cook for about 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Add the Alfredo sauce and heat through. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with the tagliatelle cooked according to the package instructions.
