Tart Tartin
The perfect tart tartin recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 3 Pc. Boskoop, sour apples
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Honey
- 1 role Puff pastry ready
- Preheat the oven to 180 ° C
- Peel the apples and cut into wedges.
- Melt the butter in an ovenproof pan and let the honey caramelize in it,
- Remove the pan from the heat and turn the apples in it.
- Cut out the puff pastry so large that it laps over the pan, then press it down lightly and also press the edge lightly.
- Pierce the dough and sprinkle with sugar, put in the oven and bake for about 40 minutes on the middle rack
- When it is nice and brown, take it out of the oven and turn it onto a plate, serve warm, but also delicious cold.
- I always make small pieces out of the leftover dough, just fill them with jam and put them in the oven.
