Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 80 g lard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 100 ml milk, maybe a little more
  • Lard for the mold
  • 400 ml sour cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 100 g bacon, finely diced

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Knead the ingredients thoroughly into a smooth and pliable dough, roll it out, and place it in a greased springform pan. Whisk the sour cream with the egg yolk and season with salt. Spread the bacon cubes over the dough and pour over the sour cream and egg mixture. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (top/bottom heat) for approximately 30 minutes. Tip: For a variation, you can also add leek or onion rings, or stir grated cheese or ground caraway seeds into the sour cream mixture.
