Tarte flambée

Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 15 g yeast
  • 125 ml milk, warm
  • 120 g diced ham
  • 1 bunch of spring onions
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 150 g quark, low-fat
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 30 minutes

Make a yeast dough from the flour, yeast, and milk and let it rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 250°C. In the meantime, finely chop the onions, leeks, and chives. Combine the flour, quark, and oil in a creamy mixture. Season with salt and pepper. Once the dough has risen, roll it out on a table (very thinly) and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread the “cream” over the dough and arrange the leeks, chives, onions, and ham on top. Bake in the oven on the second rack from the bottom for about 15-17 minutes (depending on the oven). Important: Always serve the tarte flambée hot!
