Tarte flambée with tomatoes, feta cheese and arugula

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 125 ml water
  • 1 cup crème fraîche
  • 1 shot of milk
  • nutmeg
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 sheep’s cheese
  • e.g. arugula

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Knead flour, oil, and water with a pinch of salt into a dough. Divide the dough into two portions and roll out thinly. Dilute the crème fraîche with a dash of milk and season. Spread evenly over the dough. Finely chop the tomatoes and feta cheese and spread on top. Bake the tarte flambée at 200°C (fan oven) until the dough is crispy and brown. Serve the finished tarte flambée with the previously washed and drained arugula.
