Tasty chicken breasts

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 handful of basil, fresh
  • Paprika powder (sweet)
  • Cayenne pepper
  • lemon juice
  • olive oil
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Season the chicken breasts on both sides with pepper and salt. Season with paprika, if desired, and then add cayenne pepper for a little extra spice. Finely chop the basil and roll the seasoned chicken breasts in it (so that the basil sticks to it). Then fry the breasts (including the basil) in a pan with a little olive oil until crispy. For a final touch, the cooked breasts can be served with a squeeze of lemon juice before eating. The cooked chicken breasts are also delicious for breakfast or lunch, for example, if you place them in a baguette roll. Another way to prepare them—even spicier and crispier—is to cut them into small strips (like schnitzel) while they’re still raw, instead of using the chicken breasts whole. Otherwise, follow the same procedure.
