Tataki Beef
The perfect tataki beef recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Saddle of veal
- 200 ml Beef broth
- 40 ml Soy sauce
- 10 ml Sesame oil
- 20 ml Rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Ginger
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds
- 1 pcs Chilli pepper
- 1 bunch Coriander
- 0,5 Piece Onion
- Cut the meat into 1 – 5 cm thick slices and soak in oil. Fry in a very, very hot pan until a nice crust forms. Then take it out of the pan and let it rest.
- Dice the onion and roast in the pan. Lightly toast the sesame seeds.
- Gently heat the broth, soy sauce and rice vinegar in a saucepan. Add chilli, inger.
- Cut the cooled meat into strips, arrange in a bowl or on a plate. Pour the sauce over them. Scatter the fried onions, the sesame seeds and the coarsely chopped coriander on top. Serve cold or lukewarm with pasta or rice.
