  • 3 eggs
  • 1 ½ m.-sized onion(s)
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 2 tsp oregano, dried

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Let’s eat

Place the minced meat in a bowl. Finely dice the onion, finely chop the parsley, and add it to the meat along with the spices and eggs. Briefly soak the white bread in water in a bowl, squeeze it out well, and add it to the meat as well. Knead everything together until a smooth dough forms. Set aside for a moment. Divide the meat into 6 or 8 portions, depending on the desired size. Briefly rinse a soup plate with cold water, place a portion of the minced meat in the well, and form a flatbread. Crumble some of the feta cheese into the center and carefully fold one half of the flatbread over it, pressing the edges firmly together. Form all of the bifteki in this way. Brush the bifteki with oil and grill or pan-fry over medium heat for 8-10 minutes on each side. Serve with fried potatoes or French fries.
