  • 750 g Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 small onions, red
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 3 tbsp teriyaki sauce, preferably with toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, optional

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Clean and halve the Brussels sprouts. Finely slice the onions. Crush the garlic. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Combine the Brussels sprouts, soy sauce, onions, and garlic and bake on a baking sheet for 15 minutes. For the marinade, mix the teriyaki sauce, paprika, and sesame seeds (optional) in a large bowl. After 15 minutes, add the Brussels sprouts to the marinade, mix well, and return them to the baking sheet. Bake for another 5 minutes. We enjoyed this with an Asian potato omelet.
