Teriyaki sauce

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 ml soy sauce (shoyu), Japanese
  • 200 ml mirin
  • 200 ml sake

Instructions

Working time approx. 2 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

very easy to make, tastes delicious with poultry, fish, vegetables, fondue

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and reduce by half over medium heat. It’s a wonderful glaze for pan-fried salmon and for yakitori skewers (I use muscle meat from a chicken leg for this). It also goes well with vegetables, sushi, and as a fondue sauce.
