Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 2 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 1 egg(s)
  • Jelly (blackcurrant jelly)
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Mix the flour with the baking powder, add the sugar, vanilla sugar, butter, and egg, and knead into a shortcrust pastry. Chill for 20 minutes, then preheat the oven to 175°C. Roll out the dough thinly and cut out cookies (using serrated cookie cutters measuring 5 cm, 4 cm, and 2.5 cm). You will need three different sizes for one finished cookie. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and bake for about 10 minutes. It’s best to check them; they should still be light in color and have a light brown base. Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Spread each cookie with blackcurrant jelly and stack them together. One large, one medium, and one small, then dust with powdered sugar.
