Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g beef, tender in one piece
- ½ onion(s), sliced
- 1 tomato(s), cut into eighths
- ¼ cucumber(s), sliced
- 4 tbsp chili pepper(s), red, green, sliced, thin (prik khee noo)
- 60 ml fish sauce (nam pla)
- 60 ml lime juice
- 2 tbsp garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp coriander greens, chopped
- ½ spring onion(s), cut into 2.5cm long pieces
Instructions

Yam Nuea
Grill the beef in a kitchen grill or on a charcoal grill until it’s still pink inside. Then slice it thinly. Combine all the salad ingredients and add the beef. Mix the dressing ingredients together. Toss the dressing into the salad just before serving.
