The ultimate cheese sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100g salami
  • 1 cup of cream, approx. 200 g
  • 200 g cream cheese spread
  • 1 cup of water (cream cup)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Broth, granulated

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

ideal with spaghetti, tortellini or other pasta

Cut the salami into small cubes. Fry in a pan without fat. When it’s lightly browned, add the cream. Stir in the processed cheese and add about a cup of water. Season with Worcestershire sauce and granulated stock, and thin with water or milk if desired. A fresh salad goes well with the pasta. Tip: If the sauce is relatively thick, any leftovers can be refrigerated and used as a spread on bread.
