January 6 in Switzerland

Dissolve the yeast in a little milk. Melt the margarine and add the remaining milk. Mix the flour and salt and add the margarine-milk mixture. Add the dissolved yeast, sugar, and 1 beaten egg. Knead the dough for about 10 minutes, then add the raisins. Let the dough rise until doubled in size (takes about 40 minutes). Form the dough into 7 balls and press a whole almond into one of the balls, so that it is not visible from the outside. Place 1 ball in the center of a round springform pan and arrange the other 6 balls around it. Mix an egg with a tablespoon of milk and brush the balls with it. Let rise for another 20 minutes. Then scatter the sugar and flaked almonds on top of the balls. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 40 minutes. The person who catches the ball with the almond is king for one day and can put on the crown!
