Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 500 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 3 tbsp gingerbread spice
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 5 dl milk
  • 4 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Sift the flour into a bowl. Add the sugar, cocoa powder, gingerbread spice, and baking powder. Gradually add the milk and oil to the well, whisking until smooth. Empty the batter into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Bake: Do not preheat the oven; place the tray in the middle of the oven. Bake at a moderate temperature (180°C) for 30-40 minutes. Note: Cut the cooled gingerbread into pieces of any size. This gingerbread is delicious with black tea or a latte. For a delicious addition: Spread a little butter on the gingerbread pieces.
