  • 3 cl schnapps (absinthe)
  • 170 ml champagne
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • n. B. sugar

Cocktail for the film of the same name

Add a sugar rim to the glass. To do this, rub the rim of a champagne glass with a slice of lemon and place the glass upside down in sugar. Pour 2 cl of absinthe into the champagne glass. Fill the glass with champagne. Pour the remaining absinthe into a tablespoon and light it. Carefully pour the burning absinthe into the cocktail so that it continues to burn on the surface. The burning throne—the “Throne of Fire”—is ready.
