Tied Pork Neck with Goat Cheese-apples-onions-oregano
The perfect tied pork neck with goat cheese-apples-onions-oregano recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 kg Boneless pork neck
- 2 Onions
- 2 Apples
- 7 slices Sliced goat cheese
- 5 el Olive oil
- 4 el Oregano dried
- Salt
- Pepper
- I had the pork comb left over and pre-cooked it in vegetable broth for a few minutes the day before. Of course, you can also use the uncooked comb. i cut the comb into 8 thin slices..like a slice of bread i first sprinkled each slice with oregano..then i put thin onion slices on top.the two apples were peeled and cut into thin slices..placed two slices of the apple each I also put on a slice of meat .. I topped the whole thing with a slice of goat slice cheese .. on top of that I put another slice of meat and topped it in the same order
- so a beautiful meat tower was created .. I wrapped this tower carefully with commercially available kitchen thread, quite tight, so that nothing fell apart .. see picture! I put the roast in aluminum foil, around it the apple, onion and everything with the olive oil, salt, pepper ..
- Firmly close the roast with the foil and bake in a preheated oven, 200 degrees, 70-90 minutes (depending on whether the meat is pre-cooked) .. develop the finished roast, serve a slice with a little gravy and the remaining vegetables it is very dark bread, my white cabbage, a fresh “light” ..
