Tightened Marinated Chicken Legs
The perfect tightened marinated chicken legs recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
marinade
- 2 Chicken drumsticks
- 1 Red Chilli, roughly cut
- 5 Garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- 70 ml Ketjap Manis
- 30 ml Light soy sauce
- 200 g Pureed tomatoes
- 3 tbsp Palm sugar
- 1,5 Limes, the juice
- 1 tsp Sambal Oelek
- 1 tsp Sambal Manis
- 2 tbsp Neutral oil
- Put all the ingredients for the marinade in a tall container and purée finely with the hand blender. Put the chicken pieces in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them and leave to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours, it is better if you let everything marinate overnight. Turn the chicken pieces every now and then.
- The next day, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and simply place the casserole dish in the oven and bake for about 45 – 60 minutes, pouring the marinade over the chicken parts from time to time, and set the grill level for the last 10 minutes of the cooking time. And then serve.
- We had spicy, glazed Brussels sprouts with it.
