Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 450 g minced beef
  • 6 slices of toast
  • 9 leaves of iceberg lettuce
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 pack of bacon
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 bag of Gouda, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • e.g. tomato ketchup
  • e.g. mayonnaise
  • e.g. hamburger sauce
  • e.g. breadcrumbs

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

First, remove 9 large leaves of iceberg lettuce and wash thoroughly. Slice the onions, tomatoes, and cucumber. Mix the ground beef with salt, pepper, an egg if desired, and some breadcrumbs and form 3 equal-sized burger patties. Fry the patties in oil. In the meantime, place 3 lettuce leaves on each plate, toast 2 slices of bread, and place them next to each other on the plates. In a second pan, fry the bacon. Then spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and burger sauce on the bread. Now place the patties in the middle. Then top with the onions, tomatoes, cucumber slices, and grated cheese, as desired. Fry 3 fried eggs in the patty pan and top with the bacon to finish.
